First
games will begin at 9:00 am sharp, and we expect to be finished
with awards soon at 1:00 pm. Please arrive between 8:15-8:45
am. Entry Fee for all tournaments is
$8. There will be prizes for all participants, trophies and
medals for section and grade winners, and team awards for the top
three-player team in each section.
Parents of younger players are asked to please stay.
Each player can expect to play three to five games; there is a time
limit of 30 minutes for each game.
For games played with clocks, USCF rules will apply.
For games played without clocks, there will be adjudication after 60
minutes of play.
Sections are by grade: K-2, 3-5, 6-8
Please bring a chess set, board, and clock if you have them.
And please bring lunch.
Chess equipment and refreshments will be on sale at each site.

Pre-Registration through the Chess Center is strongly
recommended.
